Configuring the tractor geometry

Procedure

þ
You have configured the connector types of the tractor.
1.
Tecu - Open the Tractor ECU application.
2.
Tap “Settings”.
The existing tractor profiles appear.
If a tractor profile is activated, most of the other function icons are greyed-out.
3.
Speedsource_Intern stop - To edit a tractor profile or to create a new one, you must deactivate the activated tractor profile.
4.
Tap on the tractor profile to be edited.
5.
Speedsource_Intern edit - Call up the parameter list.
The parameters are displayed.
6.
OffsetX - Open the tractor geometry screen.
7.
4920_Frontkonnektor/ 4921_Heckkonnektor - Select the currently used connector type. Per default, the connector type is always set to “Unknown”. Please note that when you select a different connector type or multiple different connector types, the automatic list of connections no longer works. You then have to list the connections manually.
8.
Adopt the pre-set distances for the connector types or enter new distances as shown in the figure above.

With an additional license (item number: 3038990035), you can configure other optional geometry parameters for using the slope-compensated GNSS position without automatic steering with the NAV-900. This parameter is reached through the tractor geometry screen with the function icon  Trimble_Nav_64x48.

The following parameters are possible:

Height above ground
The height of the GPS receiver above the ground.

Roll angle
Rotation around the longitudinal axle.

Pitch angle
Rotation around the transverse axle.

Yaw angle
Rotation around the vertical axle.

Slope offset
Slope offset of the receiver.
