Müller-Elektronik runs for a good cause

IMG_7498_450The training has paid off. Even financially. Following the success of ME runners in the Klingenthal Sport Marathon, Managing Director Christian Müller (second from left) presented a cheque for 3,164.63 euro to Salzkotten junior firefighters.

This is the third time that ME staff have taken part in the Klingenthal Sport Marathon. Enthusiasm is growing and has even spilled out beyond the town itself – colleagues from our subsidiaries in Saxony and France also took part in the race for the first time under the joint slogan “runME and friends”.

ME entered 60 runners in 15 relay teams, covering a distance of just under 633 km and raising donations of 5 euros per kilometre. A dedicated meeting point on the market square and, last but not least, the cheerleaders who had travelled with the IMG_7550_450 France, encouraged the runners and created a very lively atmosphere.

Müller-Elektronik entered 15 relay teams and was awarded the challenge cup for the largest number of relay teams entered.
